Welcome to my Homepage.  

My name is Doug Rozendaal. I am the President of PetroBlend Corp.  My wife Chris and I live in Clear Lake, Iowa with our Chocolate Lab Taylor.  Chris is a Speech Pathologist at Northern Trails Area Education Agency.  We both graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. My hobbies are flying, flying, and flying.  In addition to that we do some sailing on Clear Lake and Ice Boating in the winter.

This is "Miss Mitchell" a B-25 that I fly and yes that is your's truly smiling at you.

Here I am with the "Lawn Dart."  She met an untimely demise in September '96 when the engine quit at about 5' AGL (above ground level).  Being an upstanding member of the community she had signed an organ donor card and that is now her role.  I was wounded as well, however not mortally.  It was a really great airplane, but it stalled at 90 mph.  That made for a very fast landing in an Iowa soybean field.
